Put in your truck’s towing capacity and the trailer’s weight rating for a quick check. Every trailer listing has this tool too, filled in with that trailer’s GVWR when we have it.

Browse trailers

Find it in your owner’s manual or the manufacturer’s towing guide for your exact truck. The door sticker shows payload and GVWR, not towing capacity.

On the Tire and Loading sticker in the driver door jamb: “combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed”.

Use the trailer’s GVWR from the listing or its VIN plate. That is the most it can weigh loaded.

A quick check, not a guarantee. Your hitch receiver, ball mount, ball and coupler each have their own rating, and the lowest one is your real limit.
