Flatbed trailers: common questions
What is a deckover flatbed trailer?
Flatlander Trailer Sales describes a deckover as a flatbed trailer with the deck built above the wheels, so the full width of the deck is usable with no fenders in the way. That makes it a good fit for pallets, hay, lumber and wide loads. When one is on our lots, you will see it listed on this page.
Ask for one on our order page, or call or text (217) 673-0773.
Should I buy a flatbed or a car hauler trailer?
Flatlander Trailer Sales matches the deck to the cargo. A car hauler sits lower and has fenders beside the deck, which makes loading vehicles easy. A deckover flatbed sits higher but gives you a full width deck for wide or bulky cargo like pallets, hay and lumber.
Call or text (217) 673-0773 with what you haul and we will help you pick the right one.
Can I sell my trailer on consignment at Flatlander Trailer Sales?
Yes, Flatlander Trailer Sales accepts trailers on consignment. We put your trailer on our lot and website, take the calls and show it, and you get paid when it sells, with terms set per trailer as either a flat payout or a commission. Have the make, size, condition and your asking price ready.
Send those details through our sell or consign page, or call or text (217) 673-0773.
